The pandemic has given me more reasons to be grateful for my dog. She tells me when she needs to go outside. It's a forced break for me, even if I'm only opening the door to let her out to the backyard.

The morning and mid-day dog walks have helped keep me sane and exercised. I don't have an excuse not to get outside.

I need to get better at transitioning the end of my day, but the recent warmer, sunny weather has helped because it's an incentive to shut down and go outside.

Not doing personal stuff on my work laptop helps. When I worked in offices, I used my work computer for social media and non-work scrolling (such as Medium). Now I don't because my personal laptop is elsewhere in the room. This makes me more productive in less time and is another incentive for me to take a lunch break.
