I think one of the reasons that people with depression (myself included) sometimes push ourselves so hard is that when we’re feeling good, we know we need to take advantage of that time. This might make us push too hard.

We need to remember that both the good and the bad are temporary, so be in the moment and make each moment count.

I also highlighted, “ I had to see things get worse before they got better…” because that’s key.

As all of this (☝️) indicates, Balance is important.
